Simply superb!
It's got that lovely freshness and clean sound of Air Sculpture with the emotional feel of later period Tangerine Dream (perhaps Green Desert era). Nice instrumentation throughout, although the solo synth around the 4 min mark took a couple of hearings to get used to.
The sequencing is very laid back and complements the percussion nicely - again very Air Sculpture.
It never ceases to amaze me that after decades of electronic music, that there are still so many followers of the Tangerine Dream/Berlin School of music.
I know that when I uploaded Wulfhere/St Chad Pt 1 last year (sequencing tips from Adrian Beasley of Air Sculpture BTW) that I thought it would be ignored as being old fashioned with mellotrons and sequencing etc, but there continues to be a huge interest in this genre.

This is simply excellent Paul. Why not write some more like this while you are on your compositional roll? It is up there and better than many of the TD clone and tribute bands that are releasing commercial CD's and certainly comparable to Air Sculpture.

Best track of the year so far.

Thanks you guys!

Neil, didn't you have that signature saying"Aging Tangerine Dream fan"?. If so, I was thinking of you all along my upload

Maybe I should put the finishing touches on a few other tunes in the same style that I have stashed away....

Ken, Tablas and Congas.

Yes Paul, that used to be my signature but I'm cured of the age thing now thanks to you guys
On a serious note you should finish those other tracks - I'm sure they'd be well appreciated.

I haven’t been here for quite a while, I think for about a month and a half, been to busy. This is a nice surprise.

Paul, superb! I loved this one. Most of all for its coherence along the way, everything makes sense and goes through with firm steps.

I always have appreciated compositional consistency, it’s not something evident to achieve anyway, cos if you try, you kill spontaneity, and if you are too loosy, so many different connections makes things messy and the sense of it is lost.

I don’t mean that if you do some radical changes in a song, it becomes inconsistent, no. Well, you know what I mean, I think it is nice to be into a whole mood through the entire song, and that makes a big difference. It’s like speaking clearly, I really like when somebody speaks clearly, and you did with this song.

It’s so pleasant that I would like to listen at it many times, one of those I will put into my musical pocket to keep…

Perhaps just my impression, perhaps it’s true, but I feel you are entering a new compositional era, and it’s a positive one I can see.

Again, very nice song, keep the good work up and running Paul! Cheers…

I hope Nestor's belated review inspires you to put the finishing touches on those other tracks you mentioned too. More like this please.

Some of the tracks are done but unfortunately the resulting MP3s are too big to post here...

Maybe I'll post excepts, but, seriously, you wouldn't get the full impact of where the music goes.

Thanks you so much for your encouragement!

yes, it's frustrating isn't it - we had to cut at least 6 minutes out of "Observing Mars".
Mind you, I don't mind downloading part 1 and part 2 of a track and joining them up again at this end. It's a matter of finding the right split points. I could happily put up with one little "glitch" if it meant listening to more and longer tracks like this Paul.
