Hi all,
just got a stupid question, is it possible to link a minidisc recorder via the p2 adat out? i've got all the optical cables and everything fits, what settings/configuration should i use?

It's easy. Look the menu "Set/Samplerate settings". Then click at "opt. S/P-DIF". If master doesn't work, try to set Pulsar as slave.
But before this you should plug your mini into the correct opt. IN at the Pulsar card.
Of course, to record with the mini, you'll have to set the input to "opt"!
That's all and it should work. I work very much with my SONY MDS-JE 510 and have no trouble to connect it with Pulsar.

Are you sure that you choosed the correct input? But I don't know your MZR 500.
Pardon the stupid question, but is your MD copy-protected?
The serial copy-protection is not the reason imho. That would be only the case if you'd copy your digital recorded tracks once more.
