The problem with not being able to see what is new threads has returned... (No red folder icons, only yellow.)

John, maybe the servers clock is wrong again ?

Yes, I noticed this starting about a week ago. The server's clock was 8 minutes slow again. I sent email to the webhost. They said they fixed it, but they didn't. I reported it again days ago. Now the server's clock is 12 minutes slow. Jeeeez.

I guess the easiest solution is to change the forum session cookie expiration from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, as a buffer against clock-mismatch.

Frustrating!

That would be a good idea anyway. Sometimes when writing an answer I'll go off to check out something on another web, or in a manual, or the phone rings, and when I get back I've been "locked-out"....
