oh! thats a good news!!
which mobos they have??
anyone with intel850E?
it shoud be faster than all others?!
and does pulsar work with the newest Xeon mobo??
to get a duel Xeon at 2.4G system or P4 3.06G system? duel xeon 2.4 is just a bit more expensive, but which one is faster?

a little update : it seems that asus p4pe with p4 3.06 GHz HT CPU is perfect (with HT enabled!) if scope/SP board (or another creamware board) is placed on PCI SLOT 3.
DO NOT place it on PCI Slot 2 : it gave me lots of problems! I have a pulsar2 too on slot 5 and it's perfect too. I even put a digidesign digi001 on pci slot 2 and it's fine : it seems to be a problem with creamware boards only.
I am having Nice results setting scope/SP running on CPUid1 and sequencer (logic in my case) on CPUid0+CPUid1) : no crackles, 4 msec latency, better stability, etc ...
The 3.06 ghz cpu generates a lot of heat anyway, so take care to have a big case with good ventilation inside (3 fans here) and HD temperature : you may damage your harddrive if internal temp case is too high.
I reccomend to use fans to cool harddrives too.
Now i hope that Creamware will fix minimax problems and tremendous bugs with their "DSP unexpected overload" messages, "stdm link connection between X and Y missing" errors, stupid "don't mess with protection error" messages, better stability using multiple creamware boards.

PS: Yeah, my PC runs like a JET and it does quite the same noise
