This is related to the "presets project".

Older synths just have the single presets list attached to the device. When you want to import a new bank of presets you have to open up that little side-sliding panel and load them there. But they're not actually part of the main device.

How do you add new presets to the main "default" list so that you don't have to keep opening the seprate file ?

In other words, if we have ten people adding a few presets each, how do we merge them all into one file ?

Just drag 'em from the pop-out list onto the main list.
I've got a tip about using the old style preset lists. Any action that opens a Windows file browser (open, save as, etc) may cause SFP to freeze because the browse window jumps behind all the SFP graphics, hidden but still the active window so your cursor is unresponsive. Best to close all SFP windows (Routing screen, mixer, etc)before messing with the old style lists.

Looking forward to the new presets. If you need any help organizing I'll volunteer.

Drag and drop  couldn't be easier ! I assumed it would be some arcane import procedure.

Thanks for the tip and the offer dbmac, we should be rolling on this in about a day.
