Hello people !!!

I hate XP sooo mutch.

XP won't let me install neither Pulsar2 or Powersampler.
XP detects the new harware as mutlimedia devices....it ask me for the drivers.
I give him the addres to the folder with the drivers.
What happens.................?
Well XP tells me that there are NO drivers in that folder that matches the cards.

Waht the f*ck am i supposed to do ?

DON'T let XP install the drivers, let SFP installer do so. Remove any currently installed drivers before installing SFP.
more has been done with less

thats very strange, I never had any problem with this... have you tried going to device manager , double-clicking on the Pulsar entry (it will have a yellow exlamation mark and be labelled 'multimedia device' or something) and tried to "update driver" from the driver tab? This always works for me. If it doesn't, try disabling PnP OS in your BIOS.

For some obscure reason, SFP setup HAS TO install drivers itself. It refuses to continue if you have installed them before.

Weird... never seen this behaviour before.. I always install the driver for the SFP version I'm installing BEFORE I install the SFP application, and I never had any problems doing that, or with SFP refusing to continue because there is a driver already installed...

perhaps there is some other reason for this (BIOS settings etc.) ?

I've also installed the SFP drivers manually (using windows driver update)- never knew I was doing it wrong. Seems to work ok here.

*PS*
I would personally like to meet the persons who designed the graphics in XP..........
SO I CAN CHOKE THE BLINKING LIFE OUT OF THEM !!!

Let's all start a fan/hate club =)
Called: "Hate the XP graphics crew"
What do you think ???

XP shouldn't even be called Windows XP.
I should be called:
"The Toy's R Us Software"
(home edition of course....)

Hope i don't offend anyone.
