Hi!
How can I solved this problem, always get delay when using the Pulsar Plugins, the other Plugs like VST and DirectX works fine, and dont have this delay.I already tried the "XTC Delay m" which should solve the Delay problem, but it doesnt.
When using the Pulsar Software routing it with logic their is no Delay problem too.
But I dont like the Pulsar Mixer, and rather work with only Logic.
Would be very thankfull about all help, info??

you have to put the xtc delay in all channels that DON'T use xtc inserts.
that should do it.

HEEELLLPP!!!Hmm
Unfortunatley I having other problems now
"PCI capacity limit reached", is weird, having a pulsar+SRB (8DSP), and just tested 2 Plugins EQ and Compressor, I also read the support and did it like it recommended, and Pulsar is also not sharing IRQ with other devices.
This problems somtimes appear when starting Logic, oder when importing some Audio and push the play bottom
Any idea??

Motherboard (and chipset) play big role in PCI stability.

a sort of coffee table, often owned by mothers. once popular in france.

OR, the big plastic "card" inside your computer on which all your computers components such as processor, pci buses, chipset etc are attached.

I have the same board... Have you disabled the USB2 on your board (in doesn't work in bios, gotta move a jumper on the motherboard)?

Have you disabled onboard audio?

Have you installed in ACPI mode (you're using XP right?)?

If yes, is your bios set to support APIC mode?

If no (mean XP in standard PC mode) then your bios should have the 'Plug'NPray OS' set to disabled.

I also have disabled the serial port 1 & 2 and also disabled the paralel port...

What is the memory you're using? PC1066? PC800? Are they from the list of 'supported brand' which are certified by Asus (they seems to be picky with memory going that fast!)?

Also, what pci slot have you put your cards?

I know that PCI1 and PCI5 share togheter, so you can use those 2 for cw cards... If so, set the irq to be used in bios to 5 or 9

9 is prefered... According to Intel specs, irq 9 has the topmost priority, just after the irq2 (which you can't really use since it is for the cascading of internal devices or something like that)...

Anyway, try this!

NO, need it for my USB2 devices.

Have you disabled onboard audio?

No, Need it for another application

YES

I also have disabled the serial port 1 & 2 and also disabled the paralel port...

Gonna try it

PC1066

Also, what pci slot have you put your cards?

Pulsar Slot2 and SRB Slot4

Pulsar(PCI)20, SRB(PCI)22

Right, 2 and 9 doesnt appear

Anyway, try this!

Well, then your problem is obvious to me....

You have irq share a hardware level problem...

What USB2 devices are you using? Aren't they normal USB1? Sure?

USB2 is sharing with pci slot2 i think, so you have to leave this slot empty and move our creamware card...

Onboard audio share with pci slot 3 i think, this one also got to be empty...

Anyway, you'll have to juggle until you find the right combination. The rules is this:

CW cards can share irq togheter, if you have more than one card, it is even encouraged... But they shouldn't share with anything else.

As I said I am in ACPI mode, now I also disabled also SerielPort 1&2 and als the Parall Port.
So 5,7,10,11 is not been use, what I dont undersand, why Creamware not using this free IRQ auomatically, instead of this it takes the IRQ 20 which is also shared with another device. In Bios I forced the PCI Slot whith the Creamware switch to 5 but it doesnt.Does it mean I have to switch from ACPI Mode to Standart PC??

Hi marcuspocus!
Did you change your PCI Latency??
I change it from 32 to 64, and the AGP Graphic from 64MB to 128MB since I have a 128MB MatroxGraphicCard.

No i didn't change the pci latency timer...

BTW IRQ are assigned by bios or windows, not by creamware...

And the fact that it is assigned to irq20 and that it is sharing, is due to ACPI... And this is normal...

So, with all those changes, there is no improvements?
