Hello!

I am having a strange sync problem with my Pulsar1 and Cubase SX and I have no idea what might be causing it. It seems that the Cubase Metronome is out of sync to my music! All the music sounds synced to itself though...the metronome is constant when heard alone too. But when I play the Cubase project the metronome sounds always a bit before the pulse. This happens when I have loaded many VST Instruments. However, ( and here is the non-logical part) I read on the VST Performance meter only about 35-40% of CPU usage (my PC is a P4 2.4Ghz with 1GB RDRAM). So, this latency has not got to do with the host PC but it seems that it is due to Pulsar1. On the other hand, (again strangely) when I play a VST instrument out of Cubase, for example, the NI B4 (by the way, try it, it rocks!) using again the same ASIO drivers in SFP I get unoticeable latency...So, it seems that the problem must have its solution somewhere in Cubase SX. Anybody got any ideas?

Thank you

P.S. ...I am waiting in this week a Pulsar 2 and a Pulsar XTC to add to my Pulsar 1...I am too excited!

I'd wait till you've got your Pulsar2 board and see whether the problem remains as Pulsar2 has the newer hardware ASIO drivers which will also help your Pulsar 1 board.

Hello!

TonyR, so that means that you think that the problem is due to my Pulsar1 and not to a setting somewhere in SX? (it may be...I ve got no idea..just asking!)

Thank you
