I am trying to use Cubase SX and Soundiver at the same time. I load them in the following order: SFP 3.1c, Cubase, then Soundiver.

When soundiver loads, I get an error saying (basically) that the midi port is already in use. It is my understanding that I should be able to use both of these programs at the same time. Is there something that I need to do in my routing in SFP?

I am using WinXP if that matters.

Thanks, Dem

They are not multi-client. Add another Seq Dest/Source for Sounddiver. Make sure that port is deactivated in Cubase.

Funny, cuz using sounddiver and logic at the same times work perfectly.... Probably that both those two soft 'know' each other and share between them...

But you're right, sfp midi driver are NOT multiclient...They should....My midiman 2x2 are, very usefull...Specialy for sending from a program to another, and vice-versa.
