Win XP Pulsar I SFP 3.1a won't install (does nothing)

Hi everyone just trying to get my card working.

When I run setup.exe nothing happens. I've installed aspi 4.7 but still the same problemo.

Is there any trick to the aspi to install?

Is there anything else to do?

The drivers for the card are installed and Windows XP says it working fine.

Thanks for any help, this is so frustrating, I wanna play with my new (second hand) toy.

Just reinstalled windows and did a search of this forum still no luck.

How come there are so many people who says it works fine with WIn XP!

Posting your machine specs will help

OK my machine specs are:

Win XP Pro Service Pack 1 and ASPI 4.7
Chaintech Apogee 845E
Pentium 4 2.4
256 DDR RAM
7200 HDD

No other PCI cards but I did remove my old emagic Audiowerk card when I put in the Pulsar.

Please somebody help me.

When I was searching this forum I saw that there was Pulsar 3.01 software I could install...does anyone know where I can download that?

It doesn't seem to be available on http://www.infinitevortex.com/

Does anyone think that might help?

Please use ASPI 4.71. Did you install the driver as first step?
