hey, great track coc!!
I just would like to say, if you wanne wait that long before bringin' in the bassdrum, you could do something to push the thing to that point a bit more (you know, like a snaredrum roll can do that, but than in a different way).
I like it!

sorry, again me here, but I listened another time to this, and I'm feeling this has a possibility to be a nice techno-club mix, if you do some good edits on the ridm part and the overall arrangement.

The edited voice sample (a good one!) can pull the car, and the rest has great tension also, but than you need a fat dance beat underneath, specially the bassdrum needs attention.

And you could blow up the sound making it big by applying some (big?) reverb on the voice sample f.i.
It could be an idea to cooperate with a dj when rearranging, I often do so and it's very profitable, but of course you know this already.

Hope you're able to get your midiparts back from the bug!!
I whisper: b-a-c-k-u-p...

This is heading somewhere definitely. I think the kick is ok. It could be either more explosive, or rubberish, but that's just taste. It seems a little soft and dark at the moment, and I think that's ok too. Because it sort of works along with the bass line that's between being farty and dark/soft. The long wait for the kick does get you worked up, so a bigger transition to build to it would help, as hubird says.

The bass, and especially the hats sound very up close, in an artificial way ("synth"-y way) so that could be changed. For the bass, it could be that the release is leaving just a bit of a tail.. perhaps some obvious compression could diminish it a little. The hats can be reverbed a little, then a decimated a little (lower samplerate, not bits) and then limited heavily. That should give a good crunchy, rough texture. You could even overdrive it a little to get some high harmonics with an attitude. But of course, these are just simple icing on the top so you can defiitely live without it.

Too bad the midi file is gone.. I hope you still have the tracks in audio format so you can tweak it some more. I hate it when that happens..

I like it. repetitive. that is a good thing, in this case.

the kick does come in a bit suddenly. kinda sneaky, which I like but a little something needs to be different.

wasn't into the vocal part though, but I often say that

nice 'un sacha.

Hello friends i'm a little bit late to respond, but i'm there.Your opinion is always constructive and that's cool.About this mix i have bug just at the end of my work grrrr...In the next version that you will lesson i will try to integrate all your remarks:
Hubird the funny thing is that i have now a 14 years djjiiing background (i buy my technics in 1988) but i have alwayz mix for free or little money (i'm not a great commercial haha) but my coolection is cool.About 2000 vynils(1988-to-1995) from first chicago acid tracks ,underground resistance planet e ,stryctly rythm first tracks and lot of garage ep's.a kind of eclectic panorama of the house and techno music early period.(one day i have stop to buy vynils and i have concentrate my work on the mix,and playin with some musicians makes me understand better what music is...but my way is long ...)
Track remarks:
i will do a different kick wich will be better introduced-in that version i 'm ok it is arriving like that !without reason or introduction (haaaa i did it well but it is lost now).
I will push the synths that you hear in background (i have found a good harmony with inferno and blue synth together...presets are in pulsar oufff...).
I will push a guitar note that you hear from the middle of the track.it is a little bit to much down mixed.Ah i forget the end of the track wich will be better composed to exit in a better way from this electro beach mix.
As you know i'm not a great technician but i try to do it better and better lessoning your works (for me compare sound dynamic and mixes and spatialization?is a good base for me).The way is long and i learn everyday. The next mix i will do will be really better ouuups i hope(i have it now in my head and fortunatly on minidisc).
Bug notes:i think that my os8.6 apple is now pretty old ,the bug is a disc error ,the midicubase file refuse to be copied even on another disk i have a disc error (first time it happens for me in about 2 years that i have my mac.A strong sign wich makes me decide to put all my album works on a dvd (about 50go of files). And pz people never forget to save backups ,or one day tears could come on your eyes. This is a good example of a spontaneous 3 days work without backup.(fortunatly it was not a professional session for some people, what a catastrophic thing).
it is Another lesson by the bad way.
And now i dissapear for 3 or 4 dayzzz goin to Roma,a city that i love so much:)
The friend with who i work an album is goin to do some percussions in TAHITI 15 dayzz,a cool trip in perspective...
see you all when i'll be back
And thanks again Ken,Algo and Hubird i'm happy you have enjoy this future clubbin mix.
Future is ours and that's the miracle!
