Now here's my exact setup:
- Win XP on NTFS
- Luna 2
- p4
- intel 850e
- 256 rdram
- Logic 5.2
- asio2-32 64 source
i DID NOT edit my cset.ini with manual ulli settings at all, that means i did NOT enter any intBlkSize value.
here's an extract from my cset.ini:
[XTC-Config]
DirectPlayOutPad2=RIn
DirectPlayOutPad1=LIn
DirectPlayOut=Luna Analog Dest
AddHost=1
and that's it.
Now in Logic, marcus, and thanks by the way,
gave us the tip to set Process Buffer Range to "jumbo".
set it, for the love of god, to "LARGE".
that was the key element to being able to use effects, as inserts as well as on buses, in xtc mode.
not using the Jumbo option will of course increase the risk of "ASIO overloads" but it's worth it. believe me.
that SWEET masterverb makes you forgive and forget any warning message that may appear.
now i sincerely hope this can be of ANY help to someone else struggeling with xtc mode out there!
MAN i feel xtctatic!!
