for the first time i used the "analog drum machine" provided with mod2.
i set "clock" to external, so that i control it with cakewalk9.
the drum machine starts when i start cakewalk, but i've got some problems...
when i stop cakewalk and then i restart it, i notice that the pattern sequences don't start form the first beat!!! this is a problem, becaus i start cakewalk from the beginning of the beat, and the drum machine is not syncronized! it starts from (let's say) step 5 of the 16 pattern sequence!!!!
i was almost becoming mad while dealing with this problem!!!
any help?
sequencer module "reset"??
hi,
for the pattern sequencer i don't know (mmm, maybe i know,it's just manually workable...)
but for the sequencer modules you can use the "gate or" module to restart them. i usually connect it to the start stop input of the clock divider AND to the restart input of the seq. module. this way every single note you play will restart the sequence and restart the clock too.
the clocked modulars(2) i made like "phrazer"(on plz) show that, and the check also some mod.III from those included with the package, like "the Boxx" "Granuliner2" etc.
the way to connect you can also see here:
http://digilander.libero.it/aromad/seqrest.bmp
but if you download "phrazer" is the same weight....and you can play it.
ciao
