Hey Guys,

Ok, i'm a bit of a novice at all this, but i was wondering if someone could sent me one a file of their routing setup. I have P2 hooked up to a o3d via adat and am using SX. I'm just having a little trouble setting up the routing. Right now i have the adat source going into the asio dest and then the asio source going into the adat dest and also the adat source going into the stm1632. Is that right, am i going in the right direction?
But if and someone has a template that they use with a similar setup it would be much appreciated if they could send me a copy cause i just need a little help seeing where everything goes.
Thanks heaps, my email is: catholicschoolgirlsrule@hotmail.com

It seems you've got the idea with the I/O modules down ok.

The way you describe your setup seems to indicate that you will be recording via the 03d and also doing mixdown on the 03d (SX buss outs going direct to the 03d - ASIO source -> ADAT Dest) and you're just using the stm1632 for doing a monitor mix while you record direct to SX (assuming the output of the stm1632 is routed to pulsar analog outs possibly). Is this what you want to do?

If you wanted to do mixdown in pulsar then you would route ASIO source -> stm mixer inputs. I can send you a screen capture of the way I work if you like.

Don't worry! Once you get your head around the concept, it becomes very intuitive and fast.

Hi Shampoo,
As bassdude said you do not need to use stm1632 mixer necessarily if you don't need it, it is just using up DSP power. I use a pulsar II using 16 ADATs into a Behringer ddx3216 digital mixer. I use the SPDIF to sync pulsar from the mixer. In the samplerate settings I set... Slave, S/D-DIF, 44.1kHz, opt.ADAT. I set my behringer to internal 44.1kHz. I just connect ASIO to ADAT. I also use the SPDIF as an extra digital in/out as the behringer has one, this then gives 18 digital in/outs. I found the whole thing so confusing when I first started, but found all the answers on this forum!!!!!
Cheers everyone

Hi Kenf,
I have now Behringer ddx3216 with my Pulsar 2 Plus, so can you send me snapshot of yor scope configuration to work with ADAT1616 and Pulsar 2.

Do You ever try to use ddx3216 like midi controler, I have Cubase SX
