Hello,
maybe someone can help.
I have a Raditec SAC-2k with which i want to control Cubase SX and a SFP Mixer. The SAC is connect via USB which makes it possible to change the program to be controlled from the SAC(or/and recognizes which application is on top, not sure about that). That is why I can't use the seq module becouse the SAC would only recognize the Sequncer. I am running Win XP Home Ed. and so far routing devices like "Hubis Loopback" and "Midi Yoke" did not work, seems they don't work with XP.? Is there a device /driver that makes it possible to route a midi signal (one that is already appearing in Win XP) straight to SFP, without using the Seq source module Or Pulsars Hardware midi in?

Thanks Rolf

'Straight to SFP' is via Seq or Hardware Source.

If you're talking about continuous controller, did you try XTC? See my post in Tips'n'Tricks. If the VST(i) hosts supports is, so does the XTC plugin

I tried to set up XTC 2 days ago(I printed out your whole thread)but it does not work for me, because I do all my audio setup monitoring through SFP (4 synths + VG-88 + Mic etc.) and I could not even get it to hear what i was playing on my outboard synth. Parallel midi output (USB midi + normal midi) is not supported by the SAC either USB driver or Standard Midi. It is of course amtter of midi controllers, but how do I route the midi coming from the SAC in to the SFP?

Make sure in the XTCproject.pro, Hardware Sources you want to monitor are connected to ASIO Dest.

I just tried, and XTC does DirectMonitoring of Hardware inputs!? This does not work for me with XTCi, but it does for the hardware. The bad news is that you cannot apply effects to the incoming signal, the good news is that it's latency free.

More info on monitoring: SX' ops manual p.30
