Hi,
well I think this shouldn't be a problem.
I mean can you tell me the difference between a Desktop and a laptop ?
Apart from no PCI slots, the size, display and other obvious parts, a laptop will still be a pc.
But beware: laptops often use different chipsets (like VIA) compared to desktops.

The version that comes with the SFP or the version that you can buy in the CW online shop?

Marcuspocus is right,
It's gonna search for the HW + registration key.
Didn't they used to give some sort of Volkssampler for free when it just came out ? Or was that a limited demo ?

It's fully functional. CW distributes it on demo's, to let people without CW cards see a glimpse of what we have.
[edit] So yes that promo Volkszämpler can be run on a laptop, but not by copying .dll. It needs it's own installer.

Do you know what are the limitations of that demo? (time expiration, saving disabled...)

[edit] limitations: see Marcuspocus' post below: No Pool, but the rest is fully operational, CPU based, requires some registration too @ CW, so demo users get their CW 'My Page'.

Yes it is possible but not in download, you have to have a CD copy of it... And there IS a limitation to the demo, you can't use POOL...
Everythng else is fully functionnal.
