Has anyone go this to work.?

I get small pops and crackles with my system. Not often but about evry 30 secs.

of course I have the incrediable VIA Chipset. The only tweaking i have done is changed the ACPI settings in the regisrty for my Opcode Studio 64x and applied the latency patch for the via chipset.

Any ideas as to what might be causing this.?

Many Thanks

Did you try a safer ULLI setting? Certainly for recordings, a higher ULLI can be more stability and avoids crackles.

96 puts 96/44,1 times stress on your system compared to 44.1. So your minimum latency will probably need adjustment.

I am running it at 12ms at the moment... the lowest it will go.

You have not tweaked your computer yet as you state, so improvements are very likely
