hi

i'm quite new to this
Got the following problem
I make a simple bassline in Logic, connect the Seq midi source 1 to the sts 3000, load a couple of basses in sts, play the pattern in Logic,
What happens is that the tempo is not constant, sometimes it waits a very short time and then continues

playing a bassline on the EDS8i sounds OK, when I then add the bassline
in sts you can hear the sts bassline delays sometimes.

It looks like the pc is overloaded, but cpu usage is 2 %

my equip:
p4 2.2G 512 MB XP pro
Powerpulsar
Logic 5

btw
i have the same problem on my other pc which was a lot slower.

Please help me!!!!

I use the STS series on a much slower computer and with no noticable delay. Perhaps you have an IRQ conflict? It is possible to have a conflict without a warning sign in your device manager. Try putting your cards in different slots. If possible try it with just the CW card as your only PCI card.

That's great. I think the average delay of hardware synthesizers is 7 ms.
