Hi,
Does anyone have or know where to find the spec for the break-out cable that plugs into a Pulsar 1 ? I want to make one with longer cable lengths.
Thanks in advance for any help

I've got the schematic for the Pulsar Plus cable (AES & XLR). If you could adapt it, I'll post the jpg in the projects dept. Let me know.

Thanks dbmac, please post that. I'll use your schematic, plus I'll "reverse engineer" my pulsar cable with a multimeter. Hopefully I'll get all the info I need.

"Reverse engineer?????? Multimeter????? Schematic????"

All sounds a bit posh

I used the good old fashioned "lets take the cable apart" method.

Worked fine for me.
Of course my cable has a clip that you can simply pop open. If yours is a completely moulded cable, then carry on with your multimeters and such.

Sorry for jumping on the band wagon after my jesting comments above....

But can anyone post a pictures of the Pulsar I Plus card, close up, of both sides especially the area towards the bracket. I'm interested in seeing what the electronic difference is between the plus and the normal card.

Thanks in advance.

I dunno, Im sort of seriously tempted to try and 'mod' my pulsar basic to a Plus somehow.
I've been told the electronics are different.

The question I want to know is how different.

Thanks for the offer; Sublogic, but I already have a basic, hence the want to try and mod it to a Plus.

Its probably a wild goose chase, but I just want to see the difference before I accept it.
