Im not sure what I want to do is possible but if you can help id very much appreciate it.

Essentially, I have several external synths with midi out on them. These are connected to my midisport midi Ins which show up in the logic environment. Is there a way to route these inputs to specific channels/tracks in the arrange window so that
a) I can record knob movements from multiple synths simultaneously and
b) If i move a knob on synth A whilst having a track selected that outputs midi to a different synth (B) the knob movements on synth A dont effect synth B.

Any ideas? I've tried loads of stuff in the environment without success.

Hi, i have the same problem, and i was never able to change the behavior of Logic there...

It seem, all physical input are selected at the same times, so whatever track you select, every IN is going to that particular port...

If somebody has a solution, i'd be interrested also!

i've never had to do anything that complicated, but that sounds like something that can be routed in the environment window.you can set up the ports and controllers(place your own knobs and assign them) there.
