The fundamental question: does SP3 solve the 10-midi port limitation of Windows2000???

Check the license agreement carefully.
According to a news site I frequent, by installing Service pack 3 you agree to allow microsoft install software onto your computer remotely whenever they feel like it.

Well Microsoft won't be coming near my win2K installation as it is not connected to the internet! So no worries here. :smile:

A hate Microsoft and the XP license policy is imoral but having said that it is a lot better than 2K for music.

english and german version in the
download center SP3.
