Hi all ! groovy Reggae of the month from SpaceF/mdti !
>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wkJdD0RsCs
This is the first mastering with Mid/Side equalization (in izotope Ozone 8 ). Sounds better than before (bass does not saturate like in previous tracks).
The rest is same recipe:
_ Mini FMZ = bass (FM setting at 12/13, then equalized with cutoff of everything above 200 Hz approx)
_ B2003: organ
_ Korg M1: piano skank
_ Neodyne: keys (electronic melody in chorus)
_ Delays: mainly SpaceF Tri-Delay
_ The rest is samples (brass, drums etc)
I think that's it !
images: midjourney v5 (not so great results, sometimes cool, sometimes, weird, but fun anyway)
Enjoy !

Re: Fire Dub Reggae
Sounds great ! With a rapper/singer this could fly.

Re: Fire Dub Reggae
thanks !
i'd love to be able to sing but... not the right voice + It's not easy to write lyrics.
May be I should try finding "toplines" (melodies for singers, with no texts, i can do that "easily") and send that to labels who have reggae singers to see what happens... in a few months though... not ready yet, still learning and making tracks...
