ASIO not loading with Cubase Elements 12

Hey there,

after really long time, i was formatting this computer,
fresh windows 10 pro 64bit install.
It's not my main computer,
but still, I have 3x luna II cards with Scope 5.1 installed.
I'm also using on this machine Cubase 12 Elements.
When i start Cubase 12 El, ASIO is not recognized.
I was checking everything again, can't find the problem now.

What I have tested is that Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 has recognized ASIO from Scope normally,
so, there's some prob. between Scope and Cubase.

Any suggestions and tips maybe, what to check again.

there's no problem with Cubase that i know of.
i had a customer who had issues with Cubase and v5.1 in win10, but v7 solved the problem. you could test v7.

Yea, I have v7 installed on my main audio computer, works just fine.

I just did one quick test, since Cubase Elements 12 was an upgrade from 9.5 version,
I installed back Cubase Elements 9.5 version and ASIO is recognized just perfect,
so version 12 don't want to recognized it. Interesting.

nothing else,
Sound Forge 10 or Cubase Elements 9 recognize Asio , Elements 12 not.

Wonder if V8 (beta) will see any change in this case.

When comes v8 for pci cards, my first move will be to upgrade, currently machine with v7 installed.
I'll leave here v5.1 since it's just somekind of "add on" computer in sync with my main one.
Will using Cubase Elements 9.5 instead, then will see

I have installed scope v7 and cubase 12 artist, on my main audio computer, works just fine.
So, elements version will stay on this computer.
Will also ask in cubase forum too.

Is there any upgade option from 5.1 to 7 ?
Right now, i have a little difficult life situation, so, atm I can't afford much for my hobby , but I hope it's gonna be all fine in the future

update :
today i installed Win11 Pro also on this machine and tried once again, but results are exactly the same.
Cubase Elements 9.5 and Sound Forge Audio 10 recognized ASIO right away
Cubase Elements 12 and today I also tried my second version of Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 and ASIO is not recognized.
Not sure, what's with this number 12, lol
Pictures are first 2 from Sound Forge Studio 12 and last from 10.

Update :

It works !
I tried it by chance, ASIO recognized.
Also works with compatibility mode for Windows 8.

Yea, but it also works with Windows 8 compatibility option.
On this slave machine (win11,scope 5.1)is fine, cause i'm running here just vst's over adat to my master machine (win10, scope 7) in sync with 2 sequencers running.
No, latency can be lower, this is just my default scope startup project.
