Hello all.

How can i switch my Luna driver mode from 16bit to 24bit mode ? In the driver settings both of 24bit and 32bit mode radio-knobs are grey and non-switchable. The single variant is 16bit
Please, HELP...

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

you have to install the 24 bit sources and dest. (SFP 3.1) and choose 24 bit in cubase.

In my case it works great under win2000 and WinXP, no problems with Cubase 5.1.

I think no, on my machine it works without it. I believe, the driversettings is for zhe MME-driver, not for ASIO.
You can try to record a sample of 1 min in 16 BIT and 24 BIT-mode, the sample in 24 BIt mode is larger...

Ok, thanx.

And one more question... Did you (or anybody else here) try to create a 96KHz project (SFP 3.1)? When i tried, it was insufficient of 3 Luna's DSP to create that project. Luna's system was overloaded

96khz requires TWICE the amount of DSP power. If you have more than 1/2 of your 3 DSPs loaded, it will, of course, overload.

Some devices also won't run at 96khz currently. If you're trying to use 96khz on a Luna, it would be best to avoid using any/most devices and just use it as I/O and maybe a small mixer.
