MAIN SURFACE
- global controls, including: coarse tune, fine tune, portamento (glide) mode, portamento time, pitch-bend ranger, volume
- 24dB (4-pole) lowpass filter (cutoff and resonance) with dedicated envelope (ADSR/ DR slope); velocity control of envelope amount to cutoff; cutoff can be modulated by an external sound source (switchable)
- global LFO: six modulation styles (including: sine, square, up saw, down saw, triangle, random); seperate grades to pitch, volume and filter cutoff
- independent modwheel LFO (sine shape) for pitch modulation; switchable to filter and volume
- noise source (white), including its own dedicated envelope (ADSR/ DR slope); velocity amplitude control; can be switched to synth output (audible) and also switchable to any or all operators as a modulator
- distortion (effects final synth output)
- buttons to open each operator surface

SIX SINE OPERATORS
- all identical, featuring:

- FM (frequency modulation) controls, including: coarse, fine and detune pitch; start phase; frequency feedback; velocity pitch control; bi-polar aftertouch pitch control; multi-segment key follow pitch control (with offset); dedicated operator frequency envelope control (ADSR/ DR slope); bit chop waveshaper

- AM (amplitude modulation) controls, including: amplitude gain, velocity and bi-polar aftertouch controls; multi-segment key follow amplitude control (with offset); dedicated operator amplitude envelope control (ADSR/ DR slope); switchable audio output (to synth out, audible signal); switches to send the operator output to modulate each other operator + a send switch to turn all modulator sends on and off, at once (no fixed matrix!)

FEATURES...

- clean, intuitive design and layout
- ultra-smooth control functionality (no zipping or popping)
- hands-on style control surfaces, without typical FM-style text scrolling
- capable of very flexible FM synthesis + simple additive synthesis and, of course, subtractive synthesis
- includes many presets of various styles to get you started

notes:

- the operators' bit chop waveshapers can cause a slight 'pop' sound when moving from one preset to another (the sound of the waveshaper engaging and disengaging)
- lowering volume level (main volume) might be necessary as polyphony goes up with some presets (higher polyphony can cause distortion at high-volume levels)
- some presets are designed to function monophonically and are marked with an 'm' at the end
