Hello Ken! I wanted to answer this one long time ago, but yours here it’s a long one. Definitely a working whole. I think you did a good job altogether, there is sort of a cohesive something between the pieces. And the sound itself, the way you have mixed it gives me the same impression, the impression of a cohesive work. I think this is very important for a live performance.
My preferred song, musically, it’s the first one like it probably is for everybody else. It’s the feeling in there… this Asiatic something that nothing, absolutely NOTHING in the world can replace or emulate without being clearly Asiatic… This unique spirit of the beloved Eastern Countries of the World.
I can see that the final mix is something you have look after a lot, perhaps too much… Well, I mean, perhaps too much cos sometimes a little spontaneity is just what it’s needed to find the right balance. But not complains at that level, I perhaps find it so tidy that it’s too tidy for me, that’s all.
Congratulations, cos you have done a great effort with this one, we know it! Long time has passed and you have being working hard to get there. Keep working like that friend, you’re gonna do much more and much better, I know you have the talent to go much farther…

excellent stuff!!
the three opening tunes made me think of these movies like 'crouching tiger, hidden dragon' and the likes, really nice and moody.
further on: nice electro beats, great strings, cool mixture of the different cultures, herbie hancock's 'rockit' came to my mind at a time... cute how you brought the 'classical' theme back again later.
well, break a leg this evening

Beautiful melodies throughout, beautiful orchestration.
My personal favorite is m3.
Only japanese composers attain that very special sounds at the beginning(Shimitzu for one).
On a lesser note the first few pieces are drowned in reverb and sound like a Kitaro live record.
I am to curious to know how that came out in the hall if this was the final mix.
Loved the biwa, loved the hichiriki(liki?)
I sincerely hope this project brings you greater exposure, Ken. Your talent deserves to be recognised.
