Best PCI slot

I think i saw this posted but cannot find it,so will have to ask, on a asus cusl2c which would be the best pci slot to use? one that is shared or one that is not and does it make a differance?

Hi,

I have my pulsar-2 placed in pci slot 5
That slot is shared with slot 1.
When I add another card it will be placed in that slot.

Slots 1+5 set to the same IRQs for a pair of Creamware cards, Slot 2 for a third Creamware card (all CW cards should be forced share a single IRQ in the BIOS).

thanks for help, so i assume i can put pulsar ll in slot 5 power sampler in 1 and if i wanted to add srb that can go in slot 2, or would it be beter to swap the sampler card with srb, think that makes it clear !

It doesn't really matter, 1+2+5, all on the same IRQ, but I suggest you put the "smallest" card in slot 1, since it'll generate the smallest amount of heat right next to your AGP video card.
