I used modular for the drone and background and some samples to spice it up... And my voice. This is a rough mix of a work in progress, which might end up a bit longer, and more polished... Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy...

I've been waiting sooo long for to hear your tune Eliam! It's got a very middle eastern, mystical feel. It certainly is a big landscape you're portraying here. Very nice blend of textures, great voice.

Just an opinion on the voice tho, you might want to try that "hurts the throat a bit" kind of singing method where the throat muscles are a bit more tense than right now. I guess it's just my stereo type that when chinese mysticism and mid-eastern landscapes meet, that's how ethnic people sing. But the one right now definitely works too.

And finally? I just wished the tune was longer.. The tune seems to have a very equally sustained tension, which is cool for film and stuff, but I'd still wish for a buildup, turning point, and a resolution as a listener.

Give us MORE!

Thanks for the quick and constructive comment... I know, it's too short, but it's so long to build and I'm more focused on other aspects of my music right now (live, acoustic performance...) So that's what I had to offer this day. I'll repost it when the tune is more complete...
About singing, I think I know what you mean, and I don't think it necessarily hurts the throat when correctly done... I'm working hard to place my voice and I want this (voice) track to be a bit more textured and "grainy" if I may say... I'm glad you like it!

Hello Eliam. It’s nice to hear something from you at last.

I like the idea as a whole, this music is certainly going into the meditation field.

I think your voice has a nice timber, but you need to relax more to sing this kind of melodies cos the song it’s a relaxed song in general. One of the reasons your voice do not seem to much the whole thing is the lack of “space”. I need a lot more space, I don’t know… perhaps a soft delay as well a cathedral preset of the MasterVerb for example.

The sounds are in general too sparkling, I think it would be great a bit more of intimacy about it. Nice, hope to hear more about your work.

Beautiful, Eliam!
More air in the voice, I would say. Something like "Music for Airports" by Brian Eno.

Great link Lavoll!
Are we listening?..
