from STS manual, page 49, "filter page"

***************
Frequency: Sets the filter cutoff
frequency (range: 0-99). Changes to this
setting are reflected immediately in the
graphic display. Filter cutoff can also be
edited in this display. left-click and drag
horizontally anywhere in the graphic
window.
***********
WHAT THE HELL KIND OF GRAPHIC DISPLAY ARE THEY REFERRING TO??????????????
is there a graphic window to edit the filter setting i never saw????

Yes. Try opening the keygroups window, then click on a keygroup to open the sample window and click on the "Filter" button. This will preset you with a graphical representation of the filter, which you can drag around to change the cutoff point, etc.

Yeah I tried it; it's not there anymore, perhaps because w/ the new filter types, the graphic representations no longer work? Or I'm thinking of some other device entirely.

One thing it could be: what version of the STS manual are you looking at? Perhaps the old one, or the manual needs to be udpated to reflect the addition of the new filter types?

I got manual version 3.1, STS-3000 & STS4000 manuals mention it.
Version 3.1 is also mentioned at Creamware's as latest manual.
