Scope 7 and Cubase 11
Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
Have just tested, the same configuration works just fine also with Scope 7 version.
Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
Interesting yes, but after i changed latency from , for example 44.1khz - 25ms, to 13ms, there was lot less dropouts with mp3, youtube, movies, they have almost gone.medway wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 8:29 am Hi thanks. You you mean raising the latency? I usually run on the largest setting. I think that's for ASIO only though? ASIO is working fine it's just the Windows driver I was getting dropouts from.
Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
Yes, soon i have changed now to 25ms, i'm hearing droputs in Youtube. Both, Scope 5 and 7.
Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
I'm using Foobar2000 player, no problems.medway wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 8:29 am I changed my mp3 player to WASAPI and that seems to have solved it there. Just Youtube to figure out now as there's not an option for that as far as I know.
Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
Ah ok will try raising it up

Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
That seems to have fixed it, thanks!
Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
For Discord, foobar2000 and other applications that support it, WASAPI is great. It part of MS's attempt to bring their audio API's up to low latency standards, and it tends to work well enough if you're not putting too many WASAPI clients into the mix.
Also possibly of interest, you can wrap ASIO into a WASAPI layer for soundcards that don't expose the WASAPI api directly.

Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
That's cool !

Re: Scope 7 and Cubase 11
as mentioned in the docs, the wave driver may have random dropouts.
