Problem installing SFP for the first time

Just saw this..., unfortunately something is going wrong:

First, couldn’t close the computer, it would say:

SFP caused an invalid page fault in
module at 0000:00000038.

An then, a second screen would say:

Error Starting Program
The APITRAP.DLL file cannot start.
Check the file to determine the problem

I have reinstalled the program, uninstall it, reload the new drivers, etc. Started the procces again several times... but nothing... What can I do please? :sad:

APITRAP.DLL is an evil microsoft thing. did you happen to just install perhaps win2k service pack 3?

you could try updating your internet explorer on that machine. it usually updates that file.

Thanks guys for your answers!
No, in fact, I've not installed such software, I don’t even know it.
I'm going to try updating the explorer as you suggest me, let’s see what happens… Nevertheless, SFP seems to work entirely and correctly, but the little bar-icon would load wherever it wants, in random times.
