Hi,

I use a Luna II with ADAT/ZLink-extensionboard and want to connect my a16 ultra via zlink. I bought standard firewire cables, installed the zlink i/o's, but I get no connection. zlink doens't appear in the XTC-settings, also in normal mode I dont get any signal to Cubase 5.1.

Are special cables necessary, where I can buy them in Germany, is ther a trick or so?

Thanks

Christian

The Z-Link expansion uses power from motherboard for the breakout box. Do you have a power connector on your connection on IO board?

The A16 does not require power from the PC. It has it's own power supply.

Did you get the 4 wire or 6 wire ZLink cables? (you need 6 wire)
