Hi all,
last night i was playing a song in cubase and the 'No Aiso driver' error occured, all sound stopped and the SFP icon rotated as it it had lost communications. i didn't do anything out of the ordinary, just playing back a song in cubase...i had done the same for about 5 hours without any problems.

when i first got my Pulsar 2, the same problem occured but strangely righted itself after i tried absolutly everything to fix it, but nothing really seemed to be the 'magic fix' i was stumped then, and i'm stumped now!

any tips?

thanks

Reinstall cubase. Is your cubase cracked? I was reading on the cubase.net forum that cracked versions do that, but I'm not sure. My cubase crossgrade is on hold now, so I don't/won't probably test or use Cubase for a while...

yeah it's cracked *ducks*, but i don't think that's the problem cause SFP won't work even by itself, i.e when just the project is open, no sound goes through.

if i try to activate the inputs in cubase or logic i get a 'communication with card not found' error. but SFP loads up initially, so it must recognise that the card is present. the drivers all appear to be working properly, i took the card out and put it back in again. no joy.
and to top it all off creamware are on holidays for a month!

Exactly the same situation happened to me when i changed the Pc role (in Xp ) to Standard Pc. It seemed that for some reason (i 'm thinking that heat can be the problem)
Pulsar stops fuctioning. In Xp the problem doesn't appear in ACPI mode and it isn't Cubases problem cause it happens also with an uncracked version of Cubase. If u restart your system does everything works ok for a while?

no, after i restarted the smae problem occured right from the start. but thankfully it somehow fixed itself last night when i left it on and went to the shops...don't ask me how, it very strange. the werid thing is though, MIDI worked fine through it, it was just audio...
do you think there's a problem with the card? or is it just some crazy software thing? should i return it just in case?
