I can run either of these really well from Pulsar (as stand alones - not plugins).

When I try to start the second I get a message like 'the hardware is unavailable'.

I assumed this had to do with not having enough ASIO channels, so I went to the Pulsar project, added 2 more ASIO channels to the ASIO source module, restarted everything and tried again. No joy.

What does everyone else do?

Unfortunately when I use the direct sound emulation provided in NI's audio settings page by Pulsar I get a few second delay and chopped audio.

asio drivers are not multiclient (correct me here if i am wrong, but i am pretty sure). an asio program 'hogs' the whole driver.

 why not use them as VSTi's? you could then play them at the same time . . .

Gigastudio and LAP don't like sharing audio. The moment I activate the Asio drivers in LAP I get error messages. Hence, no plugins.

Ever tried using the GSIF driver for Giga
and the Asio for logic should work,
GSIF is a kind of asio specially designed for giga and this way it works.
I've tested this on a dozen different systems
the only problem is that you need a lot of RAM and a powerfull PC to also run VST-i
good luck and have fun.
