Meta question: What is the Projects subforum all about?

There are some interesting things in here to be sure, but all I find for the most part is just screenshots of projects, and often modulars that don't show any routing. I can infer a great deal by just looking at the pictures, and pick up some ideas and pointers, but it seems odd that people don't share the associated files.

Am I missing the point? What do people hope to do by posting within this subforum? What do others expect to find?
