optical spdif doesn't seem to work for me..

i have a pcm-m1 sony dat recorder, it's output is optical spdif. i set sfp 3.1 for opt. S/P-DIF and I don't hear anything from my DAT.

I have a pulsar 1.

please help, comments and anything else is welcome.

You must set your Pulsar to SLAVE for this to have any chance of working...

Thanks for the reply. I have set it as slave, I think it says that in the documentation. I'll mess around some more with your confirmation about this. Any other simple things like that, you could confirm or bring light to would be great.
