Might be a stupid question but is the Z-Link firewire compatible? I would like to use Motu 828 firewire I/O both with a laptop and in my studio but I'm not sure if the 828 can be used as ADAT-analog converter.

It uses the Firewire connectors, but is Creamware proprietary, IIUC.

That's what I thought. I just have to hope the 828 is flexible enough, I don't want to add any more PCI cards to cause more problems. It's a shame Creamware hasn't announced any other I/Os to use with the Z-Link than the Luna box.

Hopefully they will come out with something like a LunaBoxPro, at least 1/4" instead of RCA, and rackmount.
