3 pci card & STM connexion

I just get a 6 dsp pulsar 2. I already have 1 pulsar 1 (4 dsp & 1 STM connector) + 1 pulsar 6dsp (2 STM connectors) without any I/O (don't remember its name, it was something like booster or else)

So ... 2 cards with 2 STM connectors + 1 card with 1 STM.

Shoud I install 2 STM cables ? One STM wired between the 2 cards with 2 STM connectors and another STM cable between the 3 cards ?

Or just 1 STM cable between the 3 cards ?

Since I believethe 2 stm cables is the logical solution, I gonna try like that.

Mmm. No, in the manual , the most similar example is with 2 STDM (not STM ! )

depending on what plugins you use, 1 or 2 might be better, or it might not make any difference.

i use all the cables.

Ah ! I see... With huge plugin, dsp from more than one card are needed and it's in that situation STDM cables are useful ?

Anyway, better to leave them like that, ready for Solaris, for instance.
