ISON has always been my favourite EQ - and that means something for an EQ-Avoider by nature

Re: De-Vice' Plug-ins AVAILABLE HERE BY DONATION
Thanks for the positivity gang
Re: De-Vice' Plug-ins AVAILABLE HERE BY DONATION
I agree 100% ! This eq is very nice ! Full of display options and a lot of sound shape possibilities. A perfect manual. It's worth it !astroman wrote: Sun Dec 17, 2017 2:07 am ISON has always been my favourite EQ - and that means something for an EQ-Avoider by nature![]()
I just noticed a weird curve behavior when using HP filter. After changing the HP curve slope, even after switching the filter off, the curve still displays the HP. And the curve slope display won't follow slope changes anymore. No issue with LP.
Re: De-Vice' Plug-ins AVAILABLE HERE BY DONATION
Another annoying thing I noticed : I recall my main screenset with alt+1 shortcut. But when I recall it, the ISON eq switch the 'compare' button on PRG ! Even if its gui is closed !
It does that only when the preset has been saved in the preset list. That's really annoying because since I use a lot screensets, I'm going to loose the eq settings each time if I use or save a preset !
It's a pity because the compare button feature is nice... Maybe, by giving users the choice to deactivate the compare button is the setup...?
It does this even after deleting the preset in the list and with any screenset shortcut.
No issue if never any preset is saved after loading the device.

Re: De-Vice' Plug-ins AVAILABLE HERE BY DONATION
Depends if you want to keep settings before to try other ones ! Or like your settings on a particular instrument ! Or want to move the device on another slot ! Or need to rebuild your project ! Or like to have collection of presets ! Or want to share settings with other people ! Or don't work exactly as other want !
Re: De-Vice' Plug-ins AVAILABLE HERE BY DONATION
share settings?
what madness is this?
do as you like, i'm not the father of all Scope users, and i'm not attacking anyone personally, but presets on eqs and compressors has always been something i use when i'm doing hack work. setting an eq or compressor isn't rocket science, it's something an engineer can do while napping, if he knows why he's using it. i really have to be cutting corners to use a preset eq or compressor. if time is that precious, i might not have time to do the work.
the only other place i might find a preset for an eq or compressor to be useful, is if i always use the same super crappy sound source that always needs the same eq to be usable. that's just me and every professional audio engineer that i know. ymmv.

Donated very small amount as i'm relatively new to scope and finances stretched at the min. Also i'm not aware of the devices. Not recieved email or anything (been a few days) but it's Christmas an all. I was thinking payment would lead back to the site to download?? Should it have? Cheers guys
