Cubase hangs when quitting with midisport 4x4 installed

Anyone here had a similar problem with midisport interfaces?

Both logic and cubase both wont quit properly when i have my midisport plugged in.
I can send midi to it but when I quit logic or cubase they just sit there.

Im using the latest drivers under win98se.

Make sure you have the USB updates from microsoft for your Windows98SE... update your MidiSport drivers and check the midiman tech database and see if your problem is in there. Last resort switch over to an eMagic AMT8 or Steinberg Midex8. AMT8 is perfect under 98/ME/2K/XP ... too bad you'll miss good timing using it under Steinberg tho. Hrmph.
