I have a big problem on my Pulsar2 system. I have SFP3.1 and I use Logic 5. Every time I open my Pulsar mixer or any other device in SFP I get in Logic the following message: "ASIO: System overload. The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. (-10011)". (AUdio playback stops, MIDI playback continues) When the mixer is opened and I touch one of the faders the same message pops up.
What I already tried out to solve the problem:
- to change latency times
- to change the samplerate
- to update Logic Audio (I also tried Logic 4.8 )
- I exchanged the ASIO-Modules.
- The options "larger process buffer" & "larger disk buffer" didn't solve my problem, too.
- to change the IRQ of my Pulsar-board.
System: ASUS P4T-E, Intel Pentium 4 1,6 Ghz, 512 MB RD-RAM, 60GB IBM 7200RPM, Pulsar2 (Slot 3of5, IRQ 9 (automatically).
OS: Windows 2000 Professional
I hope anybody can help me!

"ASIO: System overload." (Logic Platinum 5 + SFP3.1)
You didn't say what OS you're using. As a wild guess, I'd say Windows 2000 or XP.
Go into the task manager (right-click on taskbar -> task manager), go to the 'Processes' tab and right click on Logic Audio, select change priority -> AboveNormal.
There is also a way you can boot Logic in this mode by putting some extra info in the shortcut, I can't remember what it is exactly right now, but try hunting around on the net a little bit (Google is your friend).
peace
