hey guys i've just upgraded to win 2k it's a clean install ok when it does the add new hardware wizard i select the scopewdm driver
2k automatically ignors this and selects a oem0 driver and installs that instead and sfp3.1 wont install
so i go in and updatedriver to scopewdm it does this fine after reboot it automatically runs add new hardware wizard and puts this oem0 driver back in so i manually delete this file and put scopewdm back in same deal after reboot it automatically puts the oem0 driver back in making so sfp cant be installed am i missing something here i should i just try and reinstall windows again???? thanx for ur help guys:)

Sorry I could not Help solving your problem

But I write this post to say that it seems SFP3.1a and W2K/XP doesn't like to be together
My problem is I can't start installation on XP Home. Nothing happens.

And with the older version(wich worked fine on 98se3.1a too). it say I need to ugrade software for my hardware(wich is done by all combinations possible.)

909, instead of using addnewhardware, just run the sfp setup.exe file and let that install the correct drivers for you.

when you wanna start the installation of 3.1 or 3.01 and nothing happens remember that pulsar usually doesn't work when there's any other soundcard mounted... just a hint, i had the same problem the very first time ...
