"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

"Wherever the real power in a Government lies, there is the danger of oppression. In our Governments, the real power lies in the majority of the Community, and the invasion of private rights is chiefly to be apprehended, not from the acts of Government contrary to the sense of its constituents, but from acts in which the Government is the mere instrument of the major number of the constituents."

"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations."

this is why you don't know your head from your ass when talking about America or Americans.

don't know your past, don't know your future...

by the way, the ENTIRE Kennedy speech is readily available. the quote isn't out of context. the quote IS the context. so sorry to scare you. what is your agenda?

If you think so then don't use 'incrowd' quotes to try to brag me out of the room.

By the way, I know much more about your country than vice versa.
Use my view as a fresh way of looking at your own country, you might learn something, if that doesn't scare you off :)

Hopefully it will be Hillary's "basket of deplorables" that drain the swamp :P .

Again I quote Winston Churchill - You can always count on the Americans to do the right thing, after they've exhausted all other possibilities".

AMEREXIT has begun. America finally got fed up and did the right thing by closing the door on the establishment (the Clintons) and their far left policies (a rejection of the traditional Republican establishment as well). Bad trade deals, open-borders, too many refugees, attack on religious rights, Obamacare, rogue Supreme Courts, bogus wars, etc all of wich Donald Trump understood and was the first to mention many of these things and put addressing these problems on his platform. I knew America would atleast try to turn things around at some point and "do the right thing" simply cause I know my people.

Again, Winston Churchill was right, America is now finally doing the right thing. I don't think Trump is the ideal President but i'm glad he won instead of Hillary. Trump had a better platform and real accomplishments in the business world, entertainment world and Trump is a outsider that is hated by the establishment on both sides; while Hillary had no real accomplishments, had criminal investigations due to corruption, a bad platform with a corrupt and bogus agenda, too cozy with Wallstreet and rest of establishment, had her signature on a lot of bad legislation in the past, etc etc. America was fed up with the Obama and Clintons extremely Liberal policies and just like BREXIT the corrupt Media, Entertainment world, Wallstreet/business world, and all the rest of the establishment wanted the status-quo to contine and all tried their hardest to bring down Trump and failed because the American people are too smart for that and saw threw the BS.

American people are cut from the same cloth as Great Britain and are definitely special people with good values and religious beliefs and are true fighters, so for the far left to attack these things is suicide. I know my country and i know my people thus i knew Winston Churchill had it right when he stated "you can always count on the Americans to do the right thing, after they've exhausted all other possibilities". Obama and his policies were those other possibilities we needed to exhaust but in the end we realized Obama had us on the wrong path. I'm a African-American and I wanted Obama to do the right thing and be successful (but also knew this would not happen) and his election showed this country has come a long way by giving a minority a chance, but Obama was not the right minority neither is Clinton the right women. Electing a African-American and one day a woman are great things to do (given our ugly past when we treated woman and us blacks wrong and unfair) but they have to be the right ones not corrupt, incompetent, excuse making failures. Obama was a big failure and the American people obviously agrees with me. I'm African-American and would love to see truly qualified women, blacks, etc as a president and think that diversity will reflect well on our history, but Obama and Clinton are not right for the job.

My home State Wisconsin was the first State to draw blood and deliver the deadly blow to the Hillary camp when it turned red and went for Trump. Wisconsin has been a blue/democrat state for A VERY LONG TIME NOW (over 30 years now) but it is apart of the rust-belt wich has been hurt from bad trade deals and good manufacturing jobs leaving. Also Milwaukee is in bad shape from liberal policies causing high crime and high poverty. Also ironically Wisconsin is the birthplace of the Republican party ( The GOP was started by Abolishonist and was born in Rippa Wisconsin). Wisconsin was Blue for many years now but not true blue and is a very religious state that's like 83% Christian. The Republicans birthplace is what threw the first deadly blow to the democrats.

Well, that's surprising, I gave up last night (here) and went to bed when everyone still thought it would be Clinton to win.
The anger of the man in the street obviously was too big.
It's sad for the immaterial issues like abortion, homosexuality etc., but I hope he will do good things for the victims of globalisation and immigration.
I'm not convinced he's the man who will do that, as Trump is there for Trump.
I think Bernie Sanders had been the better candidate for that.
We'll see :)

But eh, were the elections rigged now, or was that a weird rumour? :D
