Re: Behringer DeepMind 12 (Synthesizer)
From the videos, Midas designers where behind the synth, so there's that going for it, at least for design. Build and component quality could be something else. Still, I like the fact that it's not just another emulation, and instead began as one, and then took off from there.
Sounds very much like our very own ProWave synth
Except, ProWave still reigns in my world.

Boring for us but for someone who does not yet own anything it's great.siriusbliss wrote:Beh.....rin......ger...

Re: Behringer DeepMind 12 (Synthesizer)
It is pretty amazing that whenever I see a new analog synth, I can usually recreate the sound pretty well with a scope synth or modular. It's let out a lot of my previous GAS.
Re: Behringer DeepMind 12 (Synthesizer)
I think it's the hardware controls, GUI interface and the DAW patch connection via USB of this thing that has the appeal for me.

I predict $199 (or lower to hedge my bet).
Re: Behringer DeepMind 12 (Synthesizer)
Forget the hardware synth. I just want that interface with the goggles.

It's for VR? I didn't watch the whole thing.53E7 wrote:Forget the hardware synth. I just want that interface with the goggles.
Re: Behringer DeepMind 12 (Synthesizer)
Yah. You need der VR goggles. So it's a one trick pony unless.... you can also use it as midi controller for all your other stuff. Hmmm... that could be very interesting.

They are using Microsoft hololens which is about $3000 for developers kit right now.braincell wrote:valis wrote: How to add $3,000 to a $1,000 sticker price

f it's for HoloLens, it's probably going to be vaporware. Maybe some universities will buy it.
