Well i tried this and it works pretty well so I am excited to see if it will hold up when I am far away. I could not get any sound to transfer though. Tried various combinations using the Wave 24 bit Dest and Sound Card Dest in Scope and even played an mp3 through WMP to transmit with the VOIP option in Teamviewer. Not sure if I even want the sound as it would most likely be choppy and distorted
I will eventually figure it out. I can now access my rig from anywhere. yay!
@jk - I may try that RDP you mentioned too

Oh crap I just remembered I disabled the onboard audio in the bios. Most likely the culprit!

i don't think you need to do anything tricky with VOIP in teamveiwer. i did a support session for a client and had sound and very quick and reliable control over the client's machine. sound should work through the wave driver if the Scope wave driver is the default interface in windows(i think).

No problem, it's all the same protocol. It's free & built into windows, look for Remote Desktop Connection. Part of the setup is access to audio, etc. It works pretty well, and you can get an app for iOS too. (I think some linux based VNC clients also support RDP, so it's highly likely available for Android tablets)
