Free unique reverb plugin from u-he

Post by tlaskows »

This looks a bit odd. I haven't tried it yet, so I have no idea what it sounds like. My guess is it creates some really weird reverbs.

When it comes from U-He, I tend to assume it is good, they are SO damn good in what they do!

Very interesting concept, "modeling the body of air in the room". I downloaded it and will try it out... eventually! Would like to hear some comments.

Yes, I did pay for the Diva. Man, the sound, crazy good! Just as good as Scope, but eats all my cores :)

Same here. Diva is great but often hungry especially if you've got her set on "Devine" mode and are using a decent amount of resonance and unison. I'd put her up against any other soft synth though. Too bad Urs doesn't do a Scope edition.

So far so god, I tested this little unit, very differnet from other reverbs. My first impression is that it comes like "after", it is like a gated reverb in a way, but with a different character. Very pristine sound. Closing my eyes, I could easily imagine big spaces, very naturaly recreated. My general impresion about it's sound, is that there is a big, large corridor just alongside the main room, sort of speaking, and that there is a circular sound coming from this corner, circular I mean, becuase it is like if the sound would give a tour around, and then come back joining the rest of the reberveration that started before. It is like two rebervs at the same time, one fast, and the second slow, but both different. VERY interesting.

There are so many expensive rebervs out there that are much less appealing than this little free and wonderfull unit.

So far, I like it very much applied to synths.

Good stuff good stuff. I will try to give this baby a go after I get a few minute free. I bought some year of the end specials that I have not even installed yet :o Basically, I am doing too many things at once, but I'd rather be busy than do nothing.

Today is Christmas Day, so I need to spend some time with parents and family.

Cheers,
