Before saying this, wait that you actually hear it at least!

Creamware must offically post the DSP usage of this device. Get real Creamware, it's not fun for buying it witout knowing the true detail and for the non creamware platform users, they have no way to know what this platform is actually.

ps. I'm interested with it but so many...

i don't want to show off but the method used is the one that was used in "vintage" compressor. Here in France, thereference would be UREY, but The JoeMeek uses the same method, i also tried a TubeTech which works the same (treshold determined by input gain)
Wait to HEAR it. I'm sure it's cool.
I hope it works as an insert too.

And if it works good, i think you won't care much about dsp usage

I don't expect Pulsar2 can handle 32 of it but at lease 16.

Do you normally use studios with 32 1176 compressors at once? I don't think so.

btw. I still don't see it in the shop. Silly Germans!

yeah i want to run 16 vinco and 16 masterverb pro and have enough dsp left fo all my synths and sampler, if this dosent work than i feel riped off by creamware. And one other thing creamware are so expencive that they should include atleast one hit single with their cards( two for scope).

naahh..seriously the only conserne i have with vinco, i expect it to be expensive and that is why they have to hide it in their shop. i cant find it anywhere.

creamware should develop some vintage eq and delay units too(pultec, spaceecho) that way they could sell it as a bulndle for 300-400 dollars and it wouldnt be too expensive.

by the way check out celmos new vintage delay unit from his pro series, only demo availible yet but it sounded very cool.
it was an instant "primal scream" sound.

Being one of those shoot first, ask questions later types I decided to buy this and yummy yum yum. ok, i dont know much about compressors and I am fairly new to all this technology but Ive starting putting some trance beats together and placed this compressor as a master insert effect after the optimaster and it pulled everything together very nicely. i know compressors arnt supposed to be used to fix a bad mix but this seems to have done that, becuase my mix was definately poor to start with and now it sounds kinda pro

Now what I could really do with is a hiss killer plugin! Those cedar suites look a little pricey

Anyone up for a comparison between Vinco and STW Compressor X? I'm really wanting to buy one of those now but not sure which one.

in "one hour demo" i try vinco on drums and choir-mp3-173kb (i use masterverb too) and i think that they working great - realy, realy great!!!

with my 6 dsp i load 11 stereo vinco's and 2 micro mixers!

btw: i already pay for uad-1 and i wait to compaire. i hope that uad's comp will works same good as vinco

I played with the demo a bit, but kept getting board connection lost errors so couldn't really judge it too well. It does do nice things as a final master insert, made everything sound pretty tight and professional without being overly obvious (as long as I kept it at 2:1 compression, anything over that introduced breathing due to the loud 4/4 bassdrum in my track ).
