hold the windows key and 'R'
The run window pops up
type services.msc and hit enter
Scroll until you find CPVNM Service
Right click and select properties
Next to 'Startup Type' there is a pull down menu
Select: Automatic(Delayed Start)
Click apply and then OK
After you restart your computer if you have Scope set to automatically start and you open services you will at first note that CPVNM service is not running and then if you wait a bit it will run.......hopefully

This should preserve your Copperlan connections
Tested this on Win7 64bit and Win 8.1 32bit
