Using the Tempo Delay II in Win7 64bit. I come up with a preset and then save it then save the preset file in the presets folder. When I restart the computer and load the delay again it crashes Scope.
When I copy the original factory preset to the preset folder it works fine again.
Blackbox TDelay II preset crash Scope
Re: Blackbox TDelay II preset crash Scope
Can't reproduce here
(all work fine , saving new preset , new preset list to disk, reload T Delay II loads the new preste list as should, presets are ok, no crash, saving projects is ok too).
I do not know what could be the problem. Could it be the mixer or device where it is loaded in ? I do not think so but I guess it is possible (I tried with SpaceF Modular Mixer, as I only use this one).

Re: Blackbox TDelay II preset crash Scope
ok Thanks Mehdi. I think it might be the Plate X reverb in the insert causing the problems. Other presets I try seem to work fine but this particular combination I came up with seems to not play well. If I save the whole project it will load up and work sometimes but other times it will not produce sound. If I open a new T Delay II and load it up with the same configuration manually it works fine. Optimus in insert 1, Phaser in insert 2, and Plate Reverb in insert 3.
Re: Blackbox TDelay II preset crash Scope
It sounds that something that might happen indeed because of the reverbs. The reverbs (in general) have a lot of delay lines, and it might not be the best effect to use as an insert or as an "insert inside an insert". It is not particular to Xite or any device or window version or 32/64 bits. I remember that it used to happen with Scope too sometimes (may be not the exact same problem, but problems anyway
(that's the main reason why I began to add external aux sends on my mixers, that's why I can remember that) .
Having the delay in the project window instead of loaded as an insert, and then the reverb in an insert of the delay, it could limit the occurence of the issue... may be , not sure...
So, when it works, the best is to record, and then, to go to the next step of the project.
Good luck

Re: Blackbox TDelay II preset crash Scope
Well I tried to reproduce it in the modular and came pretty close to the same sound but there was some extra flavor when I used the T Delay prob due to the internal signal routing. I will keep experimenting with it. I can build the patch pretty easy now with each device having it's own presets and just use it for the recording like you said. Thanks for getting back to me.
