I think I found an ADAT plate midi cable

Post by tlaskows »

But no whip. I think it came with my card. It's a floppy drive sort of cable to a DB25 (I think). Does anyone have schematics on how to make a dual MIDI whip for this?

Thanks,

-Tom

Thanks Tom,

But I think that's the pinout for a classic plate. I have the ADAT plate with only 2 midi ports and nothing else...

sorry, didn't know they used different connectors...
but if there are only 2 Midi ports you can simply trace the connector - each Midi is just 2 lines

cheers, Tom

chances are good that the midi pins are the same in the classic20, plus and 24ADAT plates.
